1972年10月生。北京大学东语系梵文巴利文专业博士，北京大学外国语学院南亚学系新体制长聘教授，国际梵文研究协会（International Association of Sanskrit Studies）顾问委员。长期从事西藏梵文贝叶经整理和研究工作，主持和参与多项国家社科基金项目和国际合作研究计划，先后任维也纳大学沼田客座教授、奥地利科学院、汉堡大学、龙谷大学客座研究员。研究领域涉及律部文献、密教文献以及晚期唯识中观文献。在西藏自治区梵文文本系列丛书（Sanskrit Texts from the Tibetan Autonomous Region）中出版专著三部（一部合著）。目前主要从事印度佛教晚期论师宝藏寂和无畏藏护相关作品梵本的整理与研究，同时也关注梵文文献在藏地的传承与流变。
