Profile

I began my teaching career in 1998, the centennial year of Peking University. My research and teaching focus on Indonesian-Malay culture and Southeast Asian culture. In recent years, I have been involved in the translation of Pramoedya Ananta Toer's The Buru Quartet (This Earth of Mankind, Child of All Nations, Footsteps, House of Glass) from Bahasa Indonesia into Chinese.
