Shen Yiming is a Lecturer in Persian Language and Culture at the School of Foreign Languages, Peking University, where she has taught since 2009. She holds a B.A. and M.A. from the former Department of Eastern Languages at Peking University, and a second M.A. and Ph.D. from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. Her research focuses on Persian Sufi philosophical prose, Chinese Muslim writings of the Ming and Qing dynasties—including the Han Kitab corpus—and modern and contemporary Iranian literature.
