Park Jiyeon teaches a variety of Korean language courses. For Korean majors, she instructs Basic Korean Language, Advanced Korean Language, and Korean Viewing, Listening, and Speaking. For non-majors, she teaches Public Korean, Basic Korean, and Intermediate Korean.

She holds a Ph.D. (2020) and an M.A. (2009) in Korean Education from Ewha Womans University, and a B.A. in Chinese Literature and Language (2007) from the same institution. Her research focuses on Korean phonetics and intonation, interlanguage pragmatics, AI-assisted Korean language education, listening efficacy, and reading efficacy.

Her work experience includes being a Lecturer at the Department of Korean Studies, Graduate School of International Studies, Ewha Womans University (2019–2021) and at the Korean Language Education Division, Ewha Language Center (2009–2019).
