Dr. Mahmoud Emam Ahmed Abdel Latif, Lecturer in the Department of Literary Studies at the Faculty of Dar Al Uloom, Cairo University, is now appointed as an international expert at the School of Foreign Languages, PKU. This three-year appointment is made with the formal consent of Cairo University. He holds a Ph.D. in Arabic Literature (2021) and a Master's degree in Andalusian Literature from Cairo University, complemented by dual Bachelor's degrees in Educational Media and in Arabic & Islamic Studies.
With about ten years of teaching experience in Arabic literature and texts, Dr. Abdel Latif is an active academic. His scholarly output includes co-authoring the book "Recitation: Theoretical Introductions and Analytical Texts" and preparing forthcoming works on linguistics and a poetry collection. He has also published research articles on diverse topics, from classical poetry to modern Arabic novels.
