  The Bookseller of Kabul

主讲：Åsne Seierstad

Born 10 February, 1970, Åsne Seierstad is a Norwegian journalist and author. Her publications include the bestselling books The Bookseller of Kabul about Afghanistan, 101 Days from the war in Iraq and With Their Backs to the World from Serbia.  Graduated in Russian and philosophy at Oslo University, she worked as a foreign correspondent for several Scandinavian newspapers and TV-stations in Russia (1993-96), China (1997), The Balkans (1999-2001), Afghanistan (2001-02), Iraq (2003) and the US (2004). She is known for letting people speak for themselves, to tell their real stories, the stories we don't see on the news – stories that need time.
